A little bit about me

Cara Roggemans

Welcome to BikingWithC, nice to meet you! I’m Cara, content creator and graphic designer with a huge passion for motorcycling. As a kid, I often rode along with my dad, watching my parents take long trips together and thinking: “One day, I want that too.” Years later I got my own license, and that’s when the real adventure started.

My first solo ride felt like coming home, but also a little like being lost. What I missed? Someone who understands what it’s like to ride alone. Someone to ask: Is this normal? Do you feel that too?

That’s why I started BikingWithC. I want to be that person for others, and create a space where you can ask questions, have doubts, and just ride at your own pace.

What is BikingWithC?

When I first started riding, I kept searching for a place with honest stories and practical tips in one spot. Not just the cool highlights, but how it truly feels to ride into the mountains on your own: the doubts, the mistakes, the small wins, and everything in between.

Where were the real stories?

Online, everything looked perfect. Beautiful pictures, flawless trips… but not the part where your first mountain pass feels scary, where you arrive soaked at your hotel, or what to do when you start doubting yourself. That honesty was missing and I wanted to change that.

02.

A place to share it all

So I started writing everything down: the planning, the packing, the routes, the mountain passes, the mistakes, the panic moments, and the moments where everything finally clicks. No filters, no perfect version, just the real story of what the road is actually like.

From my journey to your support

Today, BikingWithC is more than a travel diary. It’s a growing collection of blogs, tips, and Q&As to help you prepare for your own motorcycle trip: with more excitement, less stress, and the feeling that you're never doing it completely alone.

Riding solo doesn't mean
you're on your own.
